We love the Out Islands of the Bahamas. We love the unspoiled beauty, the magnificent clear turquoise water, the white sand beaches, and the remoteness which translates into empty beaches. This time we made our way to Great Guana Cay in the Abacos. We flew Chicago>Ft. Lauderdale>Marsh Harbour. We just missed the ferry in Marsh Harbour and had to wait around for the next one to Great Guana Cay.

Beach in front of our rental home |
We went on a snorkeling trip with
Dive Guana and saw a shark!
We also found a snorkeling spot by a pier near our rental house.
There are several restaurants on the island. We tried most if not all of them. Grouper and conch appear to be the consistent items on all the menus. The food was pretty good.
